National Aphasia Association

The National Aphasia Association has resources for people and families affected by aphasia. They educate and offer connections to local organizations.

Brain Injury Association of America

Brain injuries can happen to anyone and can affect many aspects of someone's life. Speech-Language Pathologists work with people who have survived a mild, moderate, or severe brain injury.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Sierra utilizes a number of low and high tech  alternative and augmentative communication devices. Most people with a communication disorder can benefit from AAC. In many cases AAC can be affordable and simple, but for people with more complex needs, resources are available that help source and fund high-tech devices.
